Product Overview

iAM:Device Manager incorporates a powerful suite of SNMP based management tools that allows your managed estate to encompass key network and storage hardware, HVAC, environmental and other SNMP accessible assets. SNMP devices can be quickly discovered either directly one at a time or by sweeping an entire subnet. Once discovered, Itheon's unique and innovative SNMP Trigger technology enables SNMP devices to be fully instrumented. SNMP Triggers turn SNMP Gets (polls) and Traps into meaningful and tasteful events. This effectively extends the same intelligent event-handling that is characteristic in other Itheon modules to SNMP based monitoring.

Processes

A full-featured Web browser based SNMP MIB compiler is incorporated providing SNMP Walk, Get, table and NMAP scanning functionality for diagnosing connectivity issues. Itheon's Network Device Manager ships with over 500 MIBs already pre-loaded, with additional MIBs being installed directly through the web GUI. SNMP V1/V2/V3 are fully supported.
